The agreement was reached in a meeting held this Monday between José Boto, director of Flamengo, and Daniel Fonseca, the athlete’s manager. Now, the parties’ lawyers will be called upon to draft the contract, which must then be signed by Arrascaeta.

There is no official information about Arrascaeta’s new salary. Currently, the number 14 receives just over R$1 million per month.
