Bonner makes fun of Formula 1 in Band and narrator detonates: “He lost respect”

The narrator of TV Bandeirantes, Téo José, reacted on social media to a comment made by William Bonner, presenter of Jornal Nacional, on TV Globo, about Formula 1, which is back on the Rio broadcaster, after 5 years of being broadcast on Band.

During the “Upfront” event, which marked the launch of Globo’s new programming schedule for 2026, Bonner made a mocking comment.

“Next year Formula 1 will be on. And you still know what Formula 1 is, right? Why it left Globo… it’s an interesting sport”, said the journalist.

“Yes, this station has really changed. There are people who, in addition to ethics, have lost respect. A sad end”, said Téo.

Bonner’s ironic comment quickly went viral on social media.
