Vienna/Klagenfurt – Carinthian regional councilor Sara Schaar is resigning from her position. She will leave office on Wednesday next week, the state SPÖ announced. A reason for the withdrawal is not given in the broadcast. In a letter to party members, Schaar explains that in the future she will set up “her own strategic area” in the state party. Schaar has been a member of the Carinthian state government since April 2018 and during this time he was responsible for, among other things, the areas of environmental, climate, nature conservation, women’s and generational policy.
