Debate brings together Harvard professor and number 2 from Finance – 10/14/2025 – Panel

Professor John Deighton, from Harvard Business School (USA), and the executive secretary of are confirmed for a debate on creative economy this Wednesday (15) in Brasília.

Deighton will present details of the study Measuring the Digital Economy, which shows how it has consolidated itself as a driver of global growth and innovation.

Durigan, in turn, will discuss the federal government’s vision on the opportunities of the digital economy.

In addition to them, Patricia Muratori, director of partnerships at YouTube, will also give a presentation on job and income generation among content creators.

With the name Brasil Criativo & Digital: O Novo Epicentre da Cultura e da Economia, the debate, promoted by YouTube and Platô, takes place at Sesi Lab Brasília, starting at 5:30 pm.

The event takes place in the context of the discussion on the Digital Competition Law, which is criticized by large platforms as a risk to innovation.

Congress may also vote in the coming days on the second issue, a direct impact on the creative economy.
