The Minister of Finance, , will participate this Tuesday (Oct 14, 2025), starting at 10am, in a public hearing at the CAE (Economic Affairs Committee) of the Senate.
Haddad will discuss the government’s strategy in relation to the PL (Bill), which expands the exemption from IRPF (Personal Income Tax) for those who receive up to R$5,000 per month.
The proposal, authored by the president’s government (PT), was unanimously in the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday (October 1, 2025), and will now be analyzed by the CAE before voting in the Senate plenary.
