You’ve probably seen those calendars with handsome men in a movie — and yes, they really exist! The Australian Firefighters Calendar has just launched a new edition and, as always, it’s giving people something to talk about.
In addition to delighting the public with photos of firefighters (some accompanied by irresistible puppies), the project has a noble cause. Proceeds raised go to charities supporting animal welfare, children’s hospitals, first responder mental health and disaster recovery in Australia.
In 2025, the calendar arrives in five versions: Dog, Cat, Horse, Mixed Animals and Hero — the latter features individual portraits of firefighters, without the company of animals.
This year’s theme pays tribute to the professionals who are dedicated to saving animals during forest fires, both in Australia and other countries.
