A quick action by the 2nd Battalion of the Military Police of Acre (PMAC) on Tuesday afternoon (14) resulted in the arrest of Robson D’Ávila de Lima, aged 19, and the apprehension of a 17-year-old teenager, identified by the initials AFS, in the Recanto dos Buritis neighborhood, in Rio Branco.

The incident began after a complaint reported the presence of hooded men in an alley between the Areal and Santa Inês neighborhoods, close to a bridge and a buritizal area. Fearing a possible confrontation between criminal factions, the police quickly moved to the location.

While traveling along Travessa Osvaldo Coelho, the police team, in support of Rádio Patrulha 202, saw two individuals on a pink bicycle. Given the well-founded suspicion, the approach was carried out.

During the personal search, the police found with the teenager a garrucha-type firearm, .28 caliber, silver in color, loaded with two intact cartridges. With the accomplice identified as Robson D’Ávila, four video surveillance cameras were located, the origin of which has not yet been clarified.

The pair were arrested and taken to the Police Station (DEFLA) for the appropriate measures to be taken.
