, the Lula (PT) government dismissed this Tuesday (14) nominations from the Republicans, the governor’s party, accused by Planalto of last week.
One of those dismissed was Marcus Vinicius Cutrim Cardoso, who held the position of director of the Department of Water Works and Support for Studies on Water Security of the National Secretariat for Water Security, of the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development.
He is nominated by former federal deputy Gil Cutrim (Republicans), director of the Governance and Sustainability Area at Codevasf (Companhia de Desenvolvimento dos Vales do São Francisco and Parnaíba).
Marcos Vander Costa da Cunha, who held the position of state coordinator in Sergipe of Dnocs (National Department of Works Against Droughts), also linked to the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development, was also dismissed. The Panel found that he was nominated by federal deputy Gustinho Ribeiro (Republicanos-SE).
On another front, the government’s political articulation began. According to reports, the government leader in the Chamber, José Guimarães (PT-CE), called parliamentarians asking them to continue voting with Planalto on economic matters. He heard that this would happen, as long as it did not represent an increase in taxes, as was the case with the MP defeated last week.
União Brasil and PP officially, but they maintain allies in government positions, which promises to toughen the relationship after finding itself without the resources it had with the MP.
