Pulmonologist Célia Rocha mourned the death of singer Patrick Dimon, who passed away on Monday (14), in Indaiatuba (SP), victim of a massive heart attack while awaiting surgery. On her social networks, Célia recalled moments of friendship and performances alongside the artist, who was successful with romantic songs in the 1970s and 1980s.

“My dear friend Patrick Dimon passed away yesterday. Showman, wonderful person, spiritual. We had contact with a certain frequency, we sang a lot together”, he wrote. The doctor reported that she met the singer during a cruise to Punta del Este, on the transatlantic Blue Dreams. “He was performing in the ship’s cabaret, saw me in the audience, took my hand and asked me to sing with him. It was really good”, he recalled.
Célia also remembered Patrick Dimon’s time in Rio Branco, when he promoted a presentation at Clube Juventus. “Several years ago I brought Patrick Dimon and his band to a performance at Juventus. It packed the club, Ibope up there. I was with him on Gazeta FM and in other media”, he said. According to her, there were plans for a new show in the capital of Acre. “I was looking at ways to bring him back, he would give up his fee. Unfortunately, there was no more time. He was my friend and brother. C’est la vie”, he concluded.
