Camelí confirmed that the Siberia Bridge, in Xapuri, will be completed on the 31st and opened by November 5th. “The Siberian Bridge, yes. It will be finished on the 31st. Until the 5th of November at the latest. Because I’m not going to complete a project, I’m going to come back to inaugurate it”, said the governor. He highlighted that the delivery represents “a dream come true for the population of Xapuri, who have been waiting for this for more than 20 years”.
During the interview, Camelí stated that the next manager must continue the development of the region. “The next governor will have to include in his planning the construction of a state highway that connects Xapuri to Sena Madureira. The route is already open, just work to pave it. This is a vision of the future”, he highlighted.
The governor also confirmed that the viaduct on Avenida Getúlio Vargas, in Rio Branco, should be delivered in the first half of 2026. “Our expectation is for the first half of 2026. If I don’t open it, Mailza will open it. We won’t fail to deliver”, he declared, citing vice-governor Mailza Assis.
Regarding the Corrente viaduct, which is part of the capital’s Arco Viário, Camelí stated that the bidding process is underway. “I believe that in the next 15 days I will give the work order. The resources are guaranteed, the most difficult thing is already happening, now it’s the works”, he explained.
Among the cultural and tourist projects, Camelí announced that the Floresta Library, the Teatrão and the Novo Mercado Velho Promenade will be ready by April 4th. “Can I be very honest? Until April 4th. Not just these, but all of them. This is a matter of planning and scheduling,” he said. The governor also confirmed that the renovation of Palácio Rio Branco will be completed by the Christmas period. “Christmas there is a very important symbol. Christmas celebrations need the Palace ready,” he said.
Gladson also mentioned ongoing works in the interior, such as the Amônia River footbridge, in Marechal Thaumaturgo, which provides access to the municipal aerodrome. “Before, when a patient needed to be removed, he had to come in a net, go down a ravine, cross the river, climb another ravine. We are in 2025, we need to reduce these difficulties”, he stated. The governor also highlighted the progress of the Brasileia and Epitaciolândia Ring Road bridge, which should divert heavy traffic from the cities.
