Israeli tanks and drones opened fire in several locations in the north of the Gaza Strip and in the city of Rafah; hitting refugee tents in Mawasi. Donald Trump threatened Hamas that, if it does not disarm on its own initiative, it will be disarmed “quickly and perhaps violently” – and “he is not kidding”.
Despite the ceasefire, in force since Friday, which was agreed between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, Israel attacked Gaza again.
The attacks were witnessed by the Spanish news agency EFE – which says that there are no reports of fatalities or injured people.
However, it is clear that Israel did at least nine dead.
On another front, TV Hamas released a video showing the execution of eight men it says were Israeli “collaborators”on a street in Gaza City, after the withdrawal of the Israeli army as stipulated in the ceasefire.
The video, whose authenticity, filming date or location was not immediately determined by French news agency AFP, was published on Al-Aqsa TV’s Telegram channel on Monday evening with the caption: “The resistance applies the death penalty against several collaborators and bandits in Gaza”.
The images show eight men with their hands tied behind their backs and their eyes or heads bandaged, being dragged to a square, being placed on their knees and in a line before being shot, each with a volley of shots, fired by armed men placed behind them.

Donald Trump today threatened the Islamist group Hamas which, if it does not disarm on its own initiative, will be disarmed “quickly and perhaps violently” in the Gaza Strip.
“If they don’t disarm, we disarm them”warned the North American leader in statements to journalists at the White House, without providing further details or deadlines, referring only to a “reasonable” period.
Trump also stated that Hamas “at the highest level” conveyed to its representatives that it will fulfill its disarmament commitment, but left the threat of doing so by force in case of non-compliance.
“How will we do this? I don’t need to explain”, continued the United States leader, when speaking to the press in the presence of his Argentine counterpart, Javier Milei, adding: “They [Hamas] You know I’m not kidding.”.
Previously, Donald Trump had urged Hamas, through the Truth Social network, to return the bodies of dead hostages held in the Gaza Strip, a measure he considers necessary to advance to the next phase of its plan for the Palestinian territory, and warning that “the work is not over”.
The ceasefire was sponsored by US President Donald Trump and negotiated with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.
Under the agreement, 20 live hostages were handed over by Hamas to Israel on Monday. However, only four bodies of the 28 presumed dead had been returned.
As a result of the ceasefire, the Islamist group expanded its presence to areas from which the Israeli Army withdrew, without waiting for the continuation of negotiations on the US President’s 20-point plan.
Negotiations at an impasse
The next phase of Trump’s plan includes the establishment of a governance system in the territory, from which Hamas would be excluded, as well as the disarmament of its military wingr.
On Saturday, a senior leader of the Palestinian group rejected the disarmament of its fighters from the AFP, stressing that this possibility was “out of the question”.
