The São Paulo Civil Police indicted, this Tuesday (14), Roberta Cristina Veloso Fernandes, twin sister of the woman named as the “serial killer” suspected of killing four people by poisoning between January and May this year, in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She is being investigated for helping her sister with execution of crimes.
The victims are Marcelo Hari Fonseca, Maria Aparecida Rodrigues, Neil Corrêa da Silva and Hayder Mhazres, according to criminal actions being processed in the courts of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where the cases were registered.
According to the police investigationin the death of Marcelo Hari Fonseca, Roberta would have helped her sister to “clean up the trash” and commented on the fact with third parties. At the death of Maria Aparecida, she was present at the last contact feed the victim.
In relation to Neil Corrêa da Silva, Roberta would have participated in planning the crime, discussed details of the execution and advised her sister on how to act to avoid traces that could incriminate them.
In the case of Hayder Mhazres, Roberta would have acted in the initial manipulation, planning the murder and trying to obtain financial benefits after the victim’s death.
