As we already mentioned, Pork tenderloin is a good source of protein, which is necessary for building all the cells and tissues of the body. Proteins are extremely important in the diet of athletesbecause they support the growth of muscle mass. Seniors should also take care of the appropriate amount of proteinbecause a diet rich in them will prevent muscle weakness. Protein is also important during weight reduction processbecause it ensures satiety. Highly nutritious meals reduce the desire to snack, which is often the cause of unsatisfactory weight loss results.

The tenderloins also provide B vitaminswhich are necessary, among others, for the proper functioning of the circulatory, nervous, circulatory and muscular systems, and also influence the metabolic processes taking place in the body.

There is also no shortage of minerals, such as magnesiumwhich supports the functioning of the heart and brain; potassiumwhich helps maintain normal blood pressure; ironpreventing anemia, or zincwhich supports the immune system, and additionally with calcium and phosphorus strengthens the musculoskeletal system.

It is worth adding, that compared to other parts of pork, the tenderloin is characterized by low calorie content, 100 g of the product contains approximately 150 kcal. Therefore, it will be perfect even for people who want to lose extra kilos. In addition, it has relatively little fat – 3.5 g per 100 g. If you want to prepare a dietary meal, avoid breading, deep-frying meat, and preparing fatty sauces.

You wonder what to make with pork tenderloin? It can be baked, fried or stewed. Perfect for everyday dinners and special occasions. One of the simplest and most delicious recipes are tenderloin with mushrooms.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g pork tenderloin,
  • 250 g mushrooms,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 15 g olive oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard,
  • 1 large tablespoon of 18% cream.
  • salt and pepper to taste,
  • parsley.

Preparation: Start by chopping the mushrooms, onion and garlic. Heat 5 g of olive oil in a pan, then fry the onion and garlic, stirring constantly so that nothing burns. When they become golden in color, add the mushrooms. Fry until they reduce in volume. Season them with salt and pepper. Remove the fried mushrooms to a plate. In the same pan, add the rest of the olive oil. Fry the washed and sliced ​​tenderloins until golden on both sides. At the end of frying, sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms, mustard and cream. You can add a little water to the whole thing. Mix everything and simmer for a while. Finally, add chopped parsley.

Serve the finished dish with boiled potatoes, puree or groats, and cooked vegetables, e.g. broccoli, green beans or carrots.
