Working as an Uber driver has become an alternative for many professionals in Portugal, especially in large urban centers. Flexible working hours and the possibility of variable income depending on effort and the city where you work have led more and more people to consider this option. The publication adds that these costs include fuel, which can represent between 100 and 200 euros per week; vehicle insurance and maintenance, which varies between 150 and 250 euros per month; as well as the commission charged by the platform, which varies between 20 and 25% of the value of each trip. What is needed to start driving
According to the Uber website, the first step is to register online, requiring only an email address and a smartphone. Candidates can choose between two options: registering as a driver associated with a fleet or creating their own company as a fleet partner.
