The contact between the two leaders comes one day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington, DC
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin will talk by phone this Thursday. The information was provided to Reuters by a White House official.
The contact between the two leaders comes one day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s visit to Washington, DC, where he is expected to ask for more military and financial support for Ukraine in the war against Russia.
This is the third recorded call between the American and Russian presidents since Trump began his second term. The first took place on February 12th and the second on March 18th.
The most important contact between them, however, was the Alaska summit, on August 15, where they met in person.
