Marcelo Messias, Secretary of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Acre, stated the importance of municipalities joining forces in the development of tourism.
“I want to thank the municipality of Cruzeiro do Sul for the invitation and I am very happy to be participating in this event which, for the tourism segment, is an extremely important event. We always say that tourism does not walk alone, tourism needs unions to be able to move forward and today nothing more than what is being done here in the municipality of Cruzeiro do Sul. And precisely this union of municipalities in favor of the development of tourism. Tourism does not happen alone in a municipality, it often needs another municipality to be able to develops, then this union only strengthens the segment, it only brings benefits and development in tourism.”

So, lectures, workshops aimed at developing professional tourism, ecological tourism and, above all, sustainable tourism. During the event, points of view, solutions and, mainly, awareness will be discussed with authorities that our region is very rich with our tourism focused on nature, that we need to pay all our attention to this and bring sustainability combined with tourism”, he pointed out.
