The leader of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, Abdulmalik Badredín al Huti, accused UN employees held by the group of spying on behalf of Israel on Thursday and in particular denounced their alleged “fundamental role” in this country’s attacks against senior officials of the Houthi authorities, after announcing the death of the chief of his General Staff.

“The cells of the organizations have been equipped with devices and means of espionage that are usually used by international intelligence services, and we have evidence of this, and all the blame falls on the United Nations and those organizations that, instead of adopting a position against the Americans and Israelis, have infiltrated and moved their members,” he assured.
