The oldest known dinosaur skeletons are 230 million years old. They were discovered in America and Africa – continents that were once not separated by an ocean, but were located together on the supercontinent Pangea. Paleontological treasures could still lie dormant, especially in remote and difficult-to-access areas. This is demonstrated by a new find that was made in the Andes in Argentina and is one of the oldest dinosaur finds.
