The Federal University of Acre (Ufac) announced this Friday, the 17th, the opening of the selection process for the Medicine course, with entry in 2026. The notice provides for 80 vacancies, divided between the two semesters of the academic year, all destined for the main campus, in Rio Branco.

With the publication of the notice, the institution confirms the holding of its own entrance exam for the course, a change approved by the University Council (CONSU) on August 26th. The new resolution establishes specific rules for admission to undergraduate courses, including maintaining the 15% regional bonus for candidates who completed high school in Acre.
The process will be coordinated by Cebraspe (Brazilian Center for Research in Assessment and Selection and Promotion of Events) and will feature objective tests and writing, both of an eliminatory and classificatory nature. The evaluations will take place in the cities of Rio Branco and Cruzeiro do Sul.
Registrations will be made exclusively online, between October 22nd and November 10th, 2025, through the website. The fee is R$120, with the possibility of exemption and sending documents for candidates who wish to compete for quotas or request specialized assistance.
The tests are divided into two stages: on January 11, 2026, the Human Sciences, Languages and Codes assessments will be applied. On the 18th of the same month, it will be time for the Natural Sciences and Mathematics tests.
Meanwhile, the other bachelor’s degree courses at Ufac will continue to use the Enem score in their own selection processes, following a model previously applied to Medicine and also with the regional bonus maintained. The degree courses will continue exclusively via Sisu, without the benefit of the bonus.
