29 times “narcissistic” to describe André Ventura. Former deputy stayed out of the shadow government and now “washes the accumulated dirty laundry”.
Gabriel Mithá Ribeiro left Chega – and Parliament – and now spares no criticism of the party leader.
The former vice-president of the party, who was at several tables at the Assembly of the Republic, had been at the Assembly of the Republic for practically a month. The reason was not revealed at the time.
Now, “wash the dirty laundry” that has accumulated over the years, with a very visible target: André Ventura.
In an article published on , the title is clear: “André Ventura: the 7 deadly sins of the narcissistic predator”. Mithá Ribeiro writes that the president of Chega has “narcissistic” and “vindictive” behavior.
The former deputy claims that Chega is a party “increasingly dysfunctional in the pathological sense of the term”.
Gabriel Mithá Ribeiro was left out of what was announced by André Ventura in September. For this reason, he complains, he was the target of a “process of humiliation”.
“In a shadow government that includes independent ministers and party ministers, excluding me was the last attempt of my civic murder that I could tolerate”, he continues.
And criticism of the “narcissistic” Ventura continues. In fact, as reported by , in this article, Mithá Ribeiro writes 29 times the word “narcissistic” to describe André Ventura.
“I’m dealing with a narcissistic predator driven by a vengeful demon. Chega’s leader is “authoritarian” e “obsessive with control of the party”; destroyed the initial “reformist” nature of the party.
It is a “drive autocratic destructive of André Ventura’s reforms, a personality trait impossible to make him a responsible ruler”, he highlights.
“André Ventura is too smart only to, after four years, not understand that he is the first and main traitor to the political essence formally established by his own party, but his inability to look at the surrounding environment without the narcissistic filter moves him on an insane crusade against the collective subject”, comments Gabriel Mithá Ribeiro.
These are criticisms that come together in a single text, but the differences were already visible, at least, since 2022, when Mithá Ribeiro left with Ventura (he was removed from the study office) and resigned from the vice-presidency of Chega. Then he reached one and continued as a deputy.
More recently, in the book ‘Por Dentro do Chega’, by Miguel Carvalho, Gabriel Mithá Ribeiro says that André Ventura “ends up being limited” by improvising in his speeches, and accuses party members of discussing politics “in the tavern style”.
