During the press conference held this Friday (17/10), he spoke with reporter Stefanny Loredo from LeoDias portal about the recording of his new DVD, the success of the recently released EP and behind the scenes of the track “Same person”, which is already among the most played on digital platforms.
“This song came in five minutes of the second half”, said the singer. “The EP was already finished when the composer, Maraiá, showed the song. At first, I didn’t really like the lyrics. He said: ‘I can find a way’. When he redid it, I said: ‘No one can hold back now!”, he revealed.

Joelma says that the success of the track comes from the public’s identification. “I think everyone has been through this. Who has never believed in someone and been disappointed? The song talks about that, about moving on when you realize that the person hasn’t changed. It’s about freeing yourself”, explained the singer, who even teased the chorus during the interview.
The choice of Brasília for recording the DVD was not by chance. The capital, according to the singer, plays an important role in the history of her career. “Brasília was marked as one of the biggest audiences I’ve ever had. There was no way it wouldn’t be here. I needed to reciprocate that affection”, he stated.
According to the singer, the idea for the show came quickly and intensely. “It all took place very quickly, over two weeks. The structure came from other projects we were doing, like the music video, COP30 and the idea of Brasília being the world capital of brega. When we saw everything happening, we said: ‘it has to be made into a DVD’, she said.
