O President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), made reference to the last chapter of the novel “Anything goes”which airs this Friday (17). In a post on social media, the head of the Executive mentioned the death of the villain Odete Roitmanand stating that, off-screen, the ending is “happy and collective”.
“Today is the end of the soap opera and Brazil will stop to see who killed Odete Roitman”wrote the president in the caption of an Instagram post. “But, off screen, the Brazilian people are writing another story: that of hope, with a country that chose to combat inequality with social justice. And here the ending is happy and collective.”
In one of the photos, the post mentions the which will be revealed this Friday. The outcome, according to the author of the remake Manuela Dias, will be different from the original.
“There’s even a lottery about the end of the soap opera. But we’re really betting on the Brazilian people”reads one of the photos shared by the president.
