The minister of the (Federal Supreme Court) authorized this Friday (17) the former president (PL) to receive visits from friends and family for his daughter’s 15th birthday party.
The celebration will be on Saturday (18), at lunchtime. Nine people were authorized to participate in the party, including the senator (Republicanos-DF).
“I emphasize that all visits must comply with the legal and judicial determinations previously established, as well as, in accordance with the decision of 8/30/2025, inspections will be carried out in the cabins and trunks of all vehicles that leave the defendant’s residence”, said Moraes.
Bolsonaro’s defense made the request to allow Bolsonaro’s daughter’s party on Thursday (16). According to the former president’s lawyers, the celebration will be “simple and reserved, with the presence of some close friends of the birthday girl and family friends who usually frequent the place.”
“It is, therefore, a family lunch, without any public or political connotations, restricted to the personal circle of the Petitioner’s family”, concluded Bolsonaro’s defense.
The former president has been under house arrest since August 4th. The arrest was ordered by the Supreme Court after Bolsonaro failed to comply with precautionary measures imposed by the court.
Bolsonaro has received daily visits during the week. Anyone who enters the former president’s house must give authorization for their car to be inspected and cannot use their cell phone in the politician’s house.
