I have decided, as always, to put my duty to my family and my country above all else. I stand by my decision, five years ago, to retire from public life.
With His Majesty’s concurrence, we think I must now go a step further. Therefore, I will no longer use the title or honors bestowed upon me. As I have stated in the past, I categorically deny the allegations against me.”
