The Regional Directorate of the Police Force (KR PZ) denied information that police officers attacked a person in front of a shopping center in Dubnice nad Váhom on Friday (17 October).. Trenčín regional police spokeswoman Ingrid Krajčíková informed about it.

“A video was published on the social network in which four persons physically and verbally attacked the victim. In the video, punches and kicks by these persons are clearly visible. The act took place in front of one of the shopping centers in Dubnica nad Váhom on Friday afternoon,” the spokeswoman informed.
As she added, the person who published the video states that the attackers were supposed to be members of the Police Force. “However, this information is not based on the truth. Investigations have shown that these are members of the Private Security Service (SBS),” stressed Krajčíková, saying that the police are intensively dealing with the case and that procedural actions are currently underway.
