Actress Elena Podzámska (53) will reveal everything already on Saturday, October 18, as part of the show V siedem nebi on TV JOJ with moderator Vil Rozboril. The artist has gone through a difficult period when she faced a lack of acting work and serious problems. She did not give up, she underwent treatment and finally luck smiled on her in the form of love.
As he informs, Podzámska was still troubled by one thing, which is unemployment. Although she had tried it as a saleswoman in the past, it wasn’t supposed to be that easy. She also talks about this in front of Rozboril, thanks to which she later got a job as a receptionist. The moderator visited her in Prešov. She lives there with her husband Jaroslav (43), she quietly married him back in February.
“I actually ran away to Prešov during the worst period. Depression, alcohol, medication. I packed up and didn’t tell anyone. After 5 or 6 days, my daughter saved me. She was so scared that, in addition to calling an ambulance, she put me on the lookout for the police. She was worried about me,” the actress describes the terrifying turning point.
The situation and difficult conditions drove her to terrible thoughts. “I became addicted to alcohol, drugs, benzodiazepines. That’s a killer combination. I didn’t want to live. I completely lost my desire and motivation for life and wanted to leave, but fortunately I realized that this will either be the end or a completely new beginning,” the Slovak daily quotes Podzámská’s chilling words.
She frankly admits that she is already an abstinent alcoholic. She previously lost her job due to these problems. “Under such a condition, I started losing work and job opportunities. Of course, I tried to control myself when it comes to work, but it gets out of hand. They can see it in you. Everyone can see it,” he says bitterly. Before Seventh Heaven aired, it was known that he was at the labor office. With the amount he receives, he lives for years.
“I am at the employment office. I receive 286 euros a month. In the current situation, I would accept a job. Of course, overall I would like to return to acting, but I can’t choose now. There are an awful lot of people who went through what I went through, but paradoxically they got a second chance from me. Me, apart from a few dubbings, nothing. The ground completely collapsed,” reveals a well-known Slovak woman.
As Nový Čas informs, it is thanks to Rozboril and his show that she now has a job as a receptionist in one of the famous hotels in Prešov. Although the artist is afraid because it is a new experience, she is extremely grateful. But the emotional moments did not end there, the director general of the Košice National Theater Ondrej Šoth also offered her a collaboration.
She appeared in the TV show JOJ. “If Eňa is interested, I will be very happy to accept her. I have always admired her voice and we will definitely be happy to accept her and we will already find some work for her in a show,” are the words of the director. “I say yes to this offer with all ten,” will be impressed by Podzámsk. There was also an offer from a dubbing studio in Bratislava. Now it will only be up to the actress to deal with it!
Podzámska found peace and support only in her husband Jaroslav, whom she quietly married. She found love and a perfect feeling of home with the Prešov resident.
