Odete Roitman’s outcome (Deborah Bloch) not remake of “Anything goes” was shown on Friday night (17) and marked a turning point in relation to the original story, from 1988.

The villain was shot by Marco Aurelio (Alexandre Nero) in the last chapter of the novel but, unlike the version written by Gilberto Bragasurvived with the help of Freitas (Luis Lobiano).

Freitas and Odete Roitman created a strong relationship when the character, who was a TCA employee, received money from the villain to buy a house for his mother.

Marco Aurélio, on the other hand, always belittled Freitas and did not give credit to his work.

Freitas discovers Odete’s supposed death on the TV news and receives a call. Soon after, the character appears on a stretcher undergoing surgery in a clandestine location, with little infrastructure for the billionaire, to remove the bullet from the shot.

In the last scene of the soap opera, Odete and Freitas meet and the villain thanks her friend, before leaving the country.

“Thank you very much, Freitas. You were impeccable”, says Odete. “I’m grateful that you remembered me at a time like this to ask for help. It was an honor, Ms. Odete. I await new coordinates”, responds Freitas.

The last sentence of the plot, written by the villain, was: “Odete Roitman always comes back”.
