Anvisa prohibits sale of 8 cannabis products in Brazil

Regulatory agency considered that products do not comply with legal requirements; supplements and injectable pens were also banned

A (National Health Surveillance Agency) banned, on Wednesday (15.Oct.2025), the sale of 8 cannabis-based products, an injectable medication pen and a line of supplements that were being sold without authorization from the agency in Brazil.

The regulator’s decision indicates that the products and companies do not comply with legal requirements established in the national market. Here is Anvisa’s decision (PDF – 226 kB).

Below are the 8 cannabis-based products from the Golden CBD Plus brand that had all batches vetoed:

  • Sleep – Golden Nano CBD/CBG/CBN 2.000mg/30ml;
  • Cannabidiol Golden CBD Plus 200mg/ml;
  • Neurogenic CBD/CBG/CBC 2.000mg/30ml;
  • Painkiller – Golden Nano CBD/CBG 2.000mg/30ml;
  • Anti-Anxiety Golden Nano CBD/CBG/CBC 2000mg/30ml;
  • T-Immune – Golden Nano CBD/CBG/CBC/CBN/CBDA 1.500mg/30ml;
  • All Golden CBD+ Nanotech brand products;
  • All products from the Golden CBD Plus brand.

According to Anvisa, products from the North American company Golden CBD Plus were being advertised and sold in Brazil without registration or authorization, which is illegal. Furthermore, the agency reported that the company also does not have authorization to operate in the country.

SUPPLEMENTS

Anvisa also vetoed Jane Alves Shape Caps, from the company Jane Alves Shape Caps Ltda., which sold medicines produced by an unidentified company, without registration, notification or registration with Anvisa.

Here are the brand’s cannabis-based supplements that had all batches vetoed:

  • Shape Turbo;
  • Shape Caps;
  • Detox Bitlife;
  • Black Turbo – Marca Bitlife;
  • Female Turbo Desire – Bitlife Brand;
  • Male Turbo Desire – Bitlife Brand.

O Poder360 contacted Golden CBD Plus and Jane Alves Shape Caps Ltda, but did not receive any response from the companies until the publication of this report. The space remains open for demonstrations.

INJECTABLE PEN

The sale of the injectable drug Tirzepatide TG5, produced by an unidentified company, which also does not have registration or registration with Anvisa, was also prohibited.
