Carlinhos de Jesus shows physiotherapy after discovery of autoimmune disease

Amid treatment for a rare autoimmune disease, Carlinhos de Jesus, 72, has used social media to share his recovery routine with his followers. Between medical appointments and physiotherapy sessions, the renowned choreographer shared the moments of overcoming.

In the post, the artist celebrated his personal achievement. “Speak my people!!!! Another day of physiotherapy here (…). One day at a time until we reach the goal”, he wrote in the caption on his social networks.

Still in the publication, celebrated the relief provided by physiotherapy sessions. “The therapist has done a great job relieving my pain! Before, the pain was so intense that it was necessary to use morphine! Today, I feel much better, thanks to the professionals who accompany me”, he detailed.

Diagnosed with a known as chronic demyelinating neuroradiculopathy, the choreographer gave more details about his current condition and progress. “I feel relief, I no longer feel pain today. Sometimes I feel pain when I do physio and hydro on the same day, I feel that pain of tiredness. But I get home, hit the bed and sleep. I like doing these sessions”, he stated, demonstrating optimism.

In his public battle against the condition, Jesus has received support from the community of . “Hey, my dear, you’re going to get better because you’re giant! Day by day, you’re getting better, until you’re dancing around! For our joy. Congratulations on your progress and your strength and focus always”, wrote a follower.
