All we need to do is add blended vegetables to our soup. We can use, for example, cooked carrots, pumpkin, zucchini, beans or peas. The choice depends on the ingredients the soup is made of and our taste preferences.

This is an effective method because the more vegetables in the pot, the greater the thickening effect. Cooked and mixed products will work as effectively as flour or roux, and will not be as caloric and they will provide additional nutrients and enrich the taste of the dish.

It is also a good and safe choice adding to boiled potato. It has a neutral taste, so it will not change the aroma of the dish, and at the same time it will thicken it perfectly. An alternative is also to add millet, mascarpone cheese or coconut milk. Some people also decide to add avocado to the soup. It has a soft consistency, so it is perfect for a creamy dish and provides valuable nutritional values.
