Are you worried about washing the glass-ceramic stove top? The super cool detergent isn’t always as good as the ads promise. Not all figles provide a beautifully shiny surface.

Three steps to a perfectly clean hob

Glass ceramic hobs are common in modern kitchens today. They look clean, elegant and easy to maintain. But only if you take care of them in the right way. It is nothing difficult, but it is still good to follow the maintenance rules so as not to damage the surface unnecessarily.

Step 1: Removing food residue
First, make sure the board has cooled down. Then take a glass ceramic scraper and gently scrape away any dried residue or burns at an angle of about 45°. For stubborn stains, you can pre-moisten the surface with a damp cloth.

Step 2: Apply the cleanser
Put a few drops of a special glass-ceramic cleaning cream on the surface. If you don’t have it, a paste of baking soda and water will work. Spread over the entire surface with a sponge or microfiber cloth. A mixture of vinegar and water in a spray bottle will also help remove grease and smudges.

Step 3: Polishing
Finally, wipe the board with a damp cloth to remove any cleaner residue. Dry with a soft cloth and polish to a shine. The surface should be smooth, clean and without streaks.
