Putin achieved two goals against Trump

The idea is not new, implementing the plan would be technically difficult and expensive, but it was a skillful flattery at the right time: a rail tunnel between Alaska and Siberia called the “Putin-Trump Tunnel.” According to Kirill Dmitriev, Vladimir Putin’s foreign policy advisor, the US and Russia could develop raw materials together and the project would “symbolize unity.” Moscow and “international partners” would raise eight billion dollars; a company owned by – of all people – Elon Musk could build the tunnel.
