Rio Branco Chamber issues note of condolence over the death of former councilor Carlinhos Santiago

The Rio Branco City Council released a note of condolence over the death of former councilor Carlos Alberto Santiago de Melo, known as Carlinhos Santiago, which occurred this Saturday, the 18th. Recognized for his trajectory in public life and his work in defense of communities, Carlinhos left his mark on Acre politics for his conciliatory stance and commitment to dialogue and social inclusion.

During his term, the former parliamentarian presided over the Legislative House, conducting work with balance and responsibility. In the note, the president of the Chamber, councilor Joabe Lira, highlighted the legacy of serenity, humility and dedication left by Carlinhos, and expressed solidarity with his family and friends, wishing them comfort in the face of their loss.

NOTE OF REGRET

The Board of Directors of the Rio Branco City Council, as well as the other councilors, expresses deep regret at the death of former councilor Carlos Alberto Santiago de Melo, a respected figure in Acre politics and remembered for his dedication to public life.

During his term as councilor, Carlinhos Santiago served as president of the City Council, leading the House with dialogue, responsibility and a conciliatory spirit. His work focused on social inclusion, valuing communities and strengthening public institutions.
