A much better option will be to take some of its elements and introduce them into your daily, standard, healthy menu. Dietitians keep saying that if you want to lose weight permanently, you need to change your eating style. Meals should be varied, balanced, rich in protein, fiber, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates. You should also limit sweet and salty snacks. To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • ½ head of cabbage,
  • 1-1.5 l of vegetable broth,
  • 2 chicken breasts,
  • 2 tomatoes,
  • 1 pepper,
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes,
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 cloves of garlic,
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste,
  • 2 bay leaves,
  • 3 grains of allspice,
  • salt and pepper to taste,
  • dill for sprinkling.

Preparation:

  1. Start by washing and peeling the vegetables. Cut potatoes, peppers and tomatoes into cubes. Grate the cabbage or chop it very finely. Cut the onion into cubes and press the garlic through a press.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large pot, fry the garlic and onion. Add chicken breasts, fry until golden. At the end, sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and place on a plate.
  4. Put the chopped cabbage and potatoes into the same pot and pour the broth over everything. Add bay leaves and allspice. Cook for about 20 minutes, then reduce the heat.
  5. When the cabbage and potatoes begin to soften, add the peppers and after a while the tomatoes. Cook for another few minutes over low heat.
  6. Add tomato concentrate, salt and pepper to taste. Also add previously fried chicken breast.
  7. Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped dill.
