The midfielder’s wife, Camila Bastiani, stated on social media that the criminals pointed weapons at the couple’s vehicle as they left the stadium. “What saved our lives is that the car is armored and we tried to remain calm”, he published.
The model and businesswoman, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, also criticized the security in the city of Rio de Janeiro, where they try to “stay alive”, according to Bastiani.
