Ceasefire in Gaza, LIVE | Breaking news after Trump’s peace agreement, exchange of dead and accusations of violating the ceasefire

Jared Kushner, son-in-law and advisor to US President Donald Trump, says he believes Hamas is searching for the bodies of the deceased hostages and is not intentionally delaying the return process to Israel. “That could be broken at any time, but right now we have seen them seeking to fulfill their agreement,” he explained in an interview with the program 60 Minutes.

For now, Hamas has not yet returned 16 of the 28 hostages who died in its captivity. The Palestinian group has claimed that it cannot locate many of the bodies because they are buried under the rubble of Gaza, a process that, according to both American and Israeli experts, could take weeks. Still, Israel accuses Hamas of lying and violating the ceasefire.
