The operation was conducted by the agency and , based on an investigation by the CGU that began in 2023.
The value of the loss in Sem Desconto corresponds to that calculated until September 19th, based on the reimbursements made by the INSS to retirees and pensioners. The loss is expected to be even greater in the future.
According to data available until October 17, the total effective loss calculated by the CGU in 2025, adding up all operations, reaches at least R$3.3 billion. In addition to Sem Desconto, other operations with great financial impact were carried out this year, such as , which investigates corruption in the mining sector, and , which investigates the participation of civil servants to enable exploration at the Granja Corumi Mine (MG).
The potential loss recorded in 2025 totaled R$9.1 billion, compared to the sum of R$2.7 billion in the period from 2015 to 2024.
