Brazil concluded its participation in the volleyball World Cup with silver medals in both the men’s and women’s competitions. The achievements in the competition held in Indiana (United States) were achieved last Saturday (18).
The Brazilian women’s team’s last match was against the United States. The yellow-green team started the match better and opened up a two-set lead, but the Americans recovered and managed to secure the final victory by 3 sets to 2 (24/26, 20/25, 25/18, 25/20 and 15/12).

The Brazilian men’s team had Egypt as its opponent, and the Africans managed to triumph by a score of 3 sets to 1 (25/19, 22/25, 25/15 and 25/21).
With the result, Brazil reaches its sixth medal in the sport in 2025. The men’s and women’s teams won both the title of the Pan-American Zonal Championship, held in May in Denver (United States), and the 1st Copa América in sitting volleyball, held in August in Curitiba, Paraná.
