This is how you enhance the taste of tomatoes. Add a little and your family will go crazy with delight

Tomatoes, especially when in season, are tasty and perfect as a salad for dinner – they can be combined with other ingredients, including: vegetables and herbs, but it is good to remember about one element that will enhance the taste of these fruits, even if they are served alone only with spices.

Tomatoes are low-calorie (approx. 19 kcal per 100 g) and contain a lot of nutrients. They contain, among others: 0.9 g of protein, 0.2 g of fat and 1.2 g of fiber. They also contain: vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, B vitamins, potassium, iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc and copper. Additionally, tomatoes have a low glycemic index (15). They also contain lycopene, which is a strong antioxidant – it helps reduce bad cholesterol and blood pressure.

What’s more, the seeds contained in tomatoes help remove accumulated toxins from the body. They also have a slightly laxative and diuretic effect. This makes it worth eating these fruits, including them in your daily diet, especially since tasty salads can be made from them in just a few minutes.

Tomatoes can be added to a variety of dishes and can also be a tasty snack. But you can improve their taste, and all you need is a bit of sugar. Thanks to it, these fruits become much tastier – this addition beats the sweetness of tomatoes. Sugar can be added to cream sauce or other sauce if we use it for a salad. In the case of dishes with olive oil, you can lightly sprinkle the slices or quarters before adding the olive oil and herbs.
