The police charged a 44-year-old man from Kežmar with the crime of dangerous threats. The case is handled by an authorized member of the Regional Department of the Police Force in Poprad. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Prešov, Jana Ligdayová.
As she stated, the man should have contacted the doctor on duty at the Poprad hospital shortly after midnight on Sunday (October 19). “He threatened to kill him. He says he’ll find out where he lives and wait for him there.” Ligday said, adding that the accused man is being held in a police custody cell. According to the spokeswoman, the law in this illegal action stipulates a prison sentence of six months to three years for the offender.
