Attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca plans to leave Turkish football and return to Brazil in 2026. At 31 years old, the player currently plays for Fenerbahçe, with a contract valid until June next year, but he has already expressed to people close to him his desire not to remain in Türkiye.
According to information gathered by ESPN, the main motivation for the decision would be dissatisfaction with their own performance and the current environment at the club.
Another factor that weighed in was the departure of coach José Mourinho, directly responsible for signing the athlete in 2024, when he was still playing for Al-Nassr. The close relationship between the two was one of the main reasons that led him to accept the challenge at Fenerbahçe.

Can Talisca return to Brazilian football?
Talisca’s future is beginning to arouse the interest of some Brazilian clubs. According to ESPN, several teams are closely monitoring the player’s situation and evaluating a possible move if he actually decides to return to the country.
So far, there is no official proposal, but three clubs appear as the most likely destinations: Corinthians, Flamengo and Bahia.

Corinthians, Flamengo or Bahia: what is Talisca’s fate?
Corinthians appears as the first option, as Talisca himself declared that he is a fan of the team and demonstrated his desire to wear the black and white shirt. However, the financial crisis that is plaguing the club and the transfer ban imposed by FIFA are challenges that make negotiations difficult in the short term.
Flamengo is also paying attention to Talisca’s situation. The midfielder has a long-standing relationship with the red-and-black football director, José Boto, responsible for taking him to European football in 2014, when he served as head of scouting from Benfica.
If Talisca accepts a salary reduction and becomes free on the market, there are chances of a rapprochement between the parties.
In addition to the Rio club, Bahia also emerges as a candidate. Revealed by the Bahian tricolor, Talisca maintains a strong emotional bond with the team and has declared on several occasions the affection he feels for the club that designed him.
With the financial support of City Football Group, Bahia has the structure and investment power to compete for the contract.
