Another proven conditioner for Spathiphyllum is aspirin. One tablet dissolved in a liter of water can stimulate the plant to produce buds. It is worth using once a month. We can also use coffee grounds to fertilize the plant. They improve soil structure and provide nitrogen. They can be mixed with soil or diluted with water for irrigation. The last way to stimulate the Spathiphyllum to bloom is sugar. This is grandma’s method that acts as an energizer on the plant. Dissolve a teaspoon of sugar in a liter of boiled water. After the mixture has cooled, water the plant, but only enough to moisten the soil.
