Scheduled to launch next month, the final season of the series Stranger Thingsfrom Netflix, promises to be one of the greatest, in terms of plot and value. That’s because each episode has a budget of approximately US$50 million and US$60 million — the equivalent of between R$268.8 million and R$322.5 million.
This is according to a report from the American magazine Puck, published by Variety in an interview with the creators of one of the biggest streaming hits, Matt and Ross Duffer.
The production won the , becoming the first series in English to record more than 1 billion hours watched on the platform.

Although they do not reveal the exact money they spent during the production of the series launched in 2016, the Netflix’s creative director, Bela Bajaria, says that the planning was “to spend as much as possible to realize the vision of what is on paperand this season is no different.”
For the streaming company, to promote the latest seasons, as well as releasing official trailers at major events like the Super Bowl.
A Funko, for example, was the first licensing partner for the series, which sold 14 million Pop dollsincluding 1 million Demogorgons — the plot’s supernatural villain —, according to Netflix.
And the products are not the only extension of the brand, which has managed to consolidate itself in the West End and on Broadway with the play “Stranger Things: The First Shadow”, and has already won two Olivier and three Tony awards.
With the end of the acclaimed series, the creators confirmed a new partnership with Paramount, over the next four years, focusing on new projects.

In season 5, the writers stated that they will answer the question “what is the Upside Down?”. Now, the characters must face breaking the barrier between the real world and the inverted world.
The season is expected to begin with the town of Hawkins under military quarantine, 18 months after the events of the previous season. Additionally, episodes should be around an hour long.
In particular, the fourth episode is 83 minutes long and the last one is two hours long, bringing an emotional ending for Eleven and all the characters in Stranger Things. Check out the teaser:
