The (Supreme Federal Court) resumes this Tuesday (21) the na trial by the former president (PL) in 2022.
The (Attorney General’s Office) says that the group against electronic voting machines and attacked authorities against the coup d’état. The defendants’ defenses claim that they did not even know each other.
The defendants in this group are (major expelled from the Army), (army reserve major), (army sergeant), (army lieutenant colonel), (army colonel), (federal police officer) and (president of the Instituto Voto Legal).
They are responsible for the crimes of coup d’état, attempted abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, criminal organization, qualified damage to public property and deterioration of listed property.
Last week, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments from the Attorney General of the Republic, Paulo Gonet, and the lawyers of the seven defendants.
This Tuesday, the First Panel dedicates its entire day to the ministers to present their votes for the conviction or acquittal of the defendants. They are part of the board , , , and .
The first to vote will be Moraes, rapporteur of the process. The order of speeches follows the criterion of seniority, from youngest to oldest in the court. The last one will be the president of the First Panel, Flávio Dino.
