In Humor À Primeira Vista, Gustavo Carvalho talks to comedians João Dias and João Miguel Costa, who present a show together, “Qual João?”.

As there are more and more comedians called João in comedy in Portugal, two of them got together to clarify who is who. João Miguel Costa, born in Trofa, played football and even coached SL Benfica’s under-17s. João Dias is from Barcelos, an excellent guitarist and music teacher, he had some viral videos performing FC Porto songs.

“Which John?” it is the show they present together. They operate in November in Lisbon, in December in Porto and also stop in a few other cities in the country.

In Humor À Primeira Vista, with Gustavo Carvalho, they reinforce the importance of gaining flight hours when you start doing stand-up, explain how humor can be useful in professions that require authority and tell stories of performances in parish halls and other equally sacred places.

Gustavo Carvalho interviews people for whom comedy is both a passion and a profession. Sometimes it opens the door to conversations about other cultural topics that excite him, be it theater, music, digital, television or cinema. The comedy, art and culture that are about to happen, every Tuesday at Humor At First Sight. Listen to more episodes here:
