Apple sales of with the processor in Brazil this Wednesday (22.Oct.2025). In addition to the notebook, the company also announced new models of the iPad Pro and Vision Pro, which feature a chip focused on artificial intelligence.
According to the brand, the M5 represents an evolutionary leap in the device’s processing capacity, “delivering up to 3.5x the AI performance and up to 1.6x faster graphics than the previous generation [o chip M4]”.
Apple promises an improvement in the product’s battery, with charging lasting up to 24 hours, and faster SSD performance than the previous generation. Tasks such as importing RAW (uncompressed) image files or exporting large videos will be positively impacted by the changes.
The notebook will be launched in a 14-inch version, in silver and special black, and with different SSD capacity and unified memory options, faster and more efficient than traditional RAM. The cheapest model costs R$19,999, with the possibility of a 10% discount when paying in cash.
The launch in mid-October takes place close to important retail dates, such as Black Friday, in November, and the end-of-year festivities, such as Christmas and New Year, when there is greater consumer demand for products.
The new iPad Pro and Vision Pro models do not yet have a release date.
