A Azul hit the record of the previous year when transporting more than 23.7 million passengers between January and September 2025 on domestic and international routes, according to Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency).
The number represents a growth of 5.9% compared to 2024, when it boarded 22.4 million passengers, until then the company’s biggest mark.
Anac data also shows that the Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas (SP), Azul’s main hub, it was the terminal that boarded and disembarked the company’s customers most between January and September this year.
Right behind Viracopos, the airports of Confins (MG), Recife (PE), Congonhas (SP) and Guarulhos (SP) stood out.

Among the five routes operated by Azul that had the most customer volume this year, the highlight was the city of Recife, which appeared three times, including the connection between Recife and Viracopos airports in first place.
The Viracopos-Confins route came in second place, followed by the route between Recife and Guarulhos airports. The fourth and fifth places went to Porto Alegre-Viracopos and Recife-Confins, respectively.
