The one in São Paulo suspended a public competition for the position of professor in the Department of Economics, Administration and Sociology (LES) at E due to suspicions of breach of impartiality.
One of the candidates, professor Luciano Mendes, holds the position of mayor of the campus, in Piracicaba. He is the hierarchical superior of the wife of the president of the judging committee, professor Carlos Bacha, at city hall.
Another point mentioned is the fact that a teacher was included in the place of another examiner on grounds of health and gender issues. The replaced examiner, however, denies that he has a medical problem.
When contacted, Esalq stated this Tuesday (21) that the legal process is ongoing and should not comment.
