Member of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic and member of the coalition party Hlas-SD Ján Ferenčák met with the leader of the party Matúš Šutaj Eštok on Wednesday. However, according to him, they did not have enough time, and they should therefore have a meeting again next week. They also have to take over the vision of Ferenčák within the party. This follows from his statement to journalists in the NR SR.
- MP Ján Ferenčák met with Matúš Šutaj Eštok.
- The meeting will take place again next week due to time constraints.
- They will discuss the vision of Ferenčák and the direction of the Hlas-SD party.
- Ferenčák announced the possibility of common or different direction of opinions.
- Some time ago, he called for self-reflection of the party at the Hlasu-SD parliament.
“I had a meeting with the chairman of the Hlas party, with the fact that his press conference was extended and that both he and I had another work schedule. However, it was necessary to meet after those months. He showed a willingness to communicate, which is very positive“, he said.
Ferenčák announced that they had therefore arranged another meeting with Šutaj Eštok. “We agreed that next week he would reserve a few hours of space and so would I,” he pointed out. He thinks that the discussion about the policy and direction of the party is not for five or ten minutes.
Next week, they are to go through the whole vision of Ferenčák within the party and the attitude of Šutaj Eštok. “Well, we’ll leave it open, because either our visions will meet and we’ll go together, or they won’t and we’ll leave it to fate.” commented the deputy.
Some time ago, Ferenčák was a critic of the situation in Hlas-SD, along with outcasts Roman Malatinac, Samuel Migaľ and Radomír Šalitroš. Unlike the trio, Ferenčák remained in the party. At the Hlasa Assembly in June, he called for the party’s self-reflection.
