I am a news and breaking news editor at HuffPost, where I coordinate the afternoon shift, with everything that happens in Spain and the world… which is no small thing.
What topics do I write about?
Writing about breaking news and current affairs occupies practically all fields, but I regularly carry out my work on International, Political and Sports issues, always trying to give that ‘Huff touch’ that is so characteristic of us when choosing and developing content.
In the years that I have been at HuffPost there have been many topics covered and in-depth coverage of major events. From the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, through countless elections (and those that remain), to a more sporting focus on the men’s and women’s soccer World Cups and Euro Cups or the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo and Paris.
I think it’s not always enough to simply tell what happens. Therefore, when circumstances allow, I seek to link the information with a more personal, more personal approach, both in the great stories and in others that are not so well known, but worthy of recognition.
My career
I was born in a beautiful town in Jaén called Sabiote. Regarding my professional career, I have a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. I started my journalistic path on the Mundotoro.com portal, from where I made the leap after eight years and some parallel projects to El HuffPost, which has been my home since 2019.
